Palace Imports manufactures furniture exclusively from 100% solid wood. Solid wood is an exceptional material, valued for its aesthetic appeal, durability, and ease of repair. As a natural product, it possesses unique physical characteristics that make each piece one of a kind, often displaying slight imperfections.

These imperfections are especially noticeable in the raised panel doors, which are assembled from five parts. They are designed with tolerances to accommodate the natural expansion and contraction of solid wood in response to seasonal changes in temperature and humidity, thereby preventing cracking. This tolerance can appear as a slight gap between the panel and the frame.

Paint also expands and contracts, but at a different rate than the wood, which can make these gaps appear more pronounced. While MDF, a man-made material, may give furniture a "perfect" appearance, Palace Imports is committed to using only natural, 100% solid wood materials.

Eco-Friendly

We use the species grown in the renewable environmentally-friendly tree plantations in Southern Brazil. No particleboard or MDF is used which means no harmful formaldehyde emissions.

100% Brazilian Pine

All our items are made of 100% farm grown Brazilian solid pine wood. Wood is kiln dried to prevent splitting and size distortion. Pine furniture will last for decades and can be easily repaired if damaged.

The seller was very helpful assisting me when aligning the sliding doors. That was the only problem I had but it was resolved and I just love it. It's a beautiful piece of furniture and lots of storage which is why I purchased it.

They arrived well packed, no damage, no missing parts. The instructions are primarily pictures and fairly easy to follow but pay attention. The end product was an attractive and functional closet and saved me from having to build another one in this room. I used a 2 door and a 3 door banked together to fill the space. I was glad to be able to choose the sliding doors because that was a better solution for the area. Bear in mind that any sliding door is going to be a bit noisier to open and a bit less sturdy than a swing door, so this is not a product issue. Its a general sliding door issue. They may need a bit of adjustment, which you can do on these at the bottom. They are pine, as advertised, not a hardwood, so don't expect that hardwood quality, but they are wood and pretty heavy and sturdy.The product uses screws and dowels to assemble and I was delighted by the pocket screw bores. Sturdier than a Camlock system.Lastly, they look good and closet-like, are very functiona and avoid the look of armoires strung togerher.

Not easy to assemble and very heavy so I got my handyman to do it for me, product is very sturdy, one of the door is not that smooth but I am assuming that is could be how my handyman has put up the door

The finished wardrobe is handsome and sturdy. Putting it together is easier than the ELGA system from Ikea, but that is a low bar.
